The band that’s playing for us Saturday night !

We are soliciting VW folks, especially BusFusion attendees to come up with the design for next year’s T-shirt.  We do expect this to be a yearly event if this works out.  Entries must be submitted by January 31, 2013.  Please send your submission to BusFusion@aol.com  The winner will be compensated with a complementary registration pass to BusFusion 2013, two T-shirts and camping for all days.

When creating your design, keep in mind that selected artwork will be adapted for screen printing onto tee shirts. Please limit your palette to 4 colours. Black and white each count as colours. 

Folks we are getting way too many of you sending PayPal payments and not including the PayPal fees as directed on the registration form.  We cannot afford to loose these monies and besides it’s creating a bookkeeping nightmare.  Those of you who have already sent in payments by PayPal and have not included the fees, we will be collecting those fees due at the registration area when you arrive.  Those of you who have still not registered and will be sending payment by PayPal do not forget to include the 3% PayPal fee !  Thanks !

Lynn and Gerry of “Vanalong” fame are the proud new owners of the Serpent River Campground.
Located in Spragge on Hwy 17 between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie in beautiful Northern Ontario.
This means we won’t be seeing them or Vanalong at any summer events, so they are starting one of their own so we can all go visit them!
Check out Walleye and Westies coming July 22 ~ 24, 2011.

Lynn et Gerry , qu’on reconnaît à chaque fois grâce à leur Westfalia surdimensionnée baptisé le “Vanalong“, sont fiers d’être les nouveaux propriétaires du terrain de camping de Serpent River.
Il est situé à Spragge, sur la route 17 entre Sudbury et Sault Sainte-Marie au coeur de cette magnifique province qu’est l’Ontario.
Cela signifie que nous ne les verrons pas assistés , ainsi que leur Vanalong, aux divers rassemblements cet été comme ils avaient l’habitude . En effet, ils démarrent leur propre rassemblement et nous pourrons donc aller tous les visiter dans le cadre de celui-ci.
Surveillez bien l’évènement “Walleye and Westies” qui se déroulera du 22 au 24 juillet 2011.

Extinct cars we want to see made again

Volkswagen Van – This vehicle simply begs to be given the 21st century treatment. It still oozes personality when seen on streets, but making a new version with updated styling (not too much!) and more updated creature comforts at a competitive price point would see it sell a boatload we bet.

Another last minute event, our very own new car show.  A company from Montreal is bringing their brand new VW Camper Van to BusFusion.  It will be on display Saturday from 1 PM to 6 PM.  More details at BusFusion.  See you there.  Click here for more pictures.
